Slusk had a new lineup during the summer of 2009. With the former of the band - Terje Varpen - getting two musicians to join on Drums and Bass. The chemistry set quickly for a successful union of musical knowledge, feeling and taste. A reportoar was interpreted and Slusk had its awful first gig at the festival "Hemnesjazz 2009" august 2009. With a brand new song list and lineup - the band did a remarkable warm-up for "Screaming Headless Torsos".

Since then, Slusk have played intensely during the season 2009 - 2010. Like the outdoor festival "Lavo Rock" and clubs in the north part of Norway. Slusk have had epicenter at the club "JernverksPubben" in Mo i Rana - where they have got full house at every gig.

So what explains all this? Well.. this is not the young kids, but men that have played for ages - and know what to do. The careful selection of songs, with additions of Terje Varpen’s own tunes, all with groove. Terje's awful power and feel on the guitar and vocal - and the tight drums and bass – might explain some.
